The Health Awareness Society (HAS), a public service unit of Mediators has been established with the objective to create awareness about various illnesses and how they can be managed. Various healthcare awareness campaigns have been launched under the banner of HAS with the aim to create awareness about different diseases & chronic illnesses and how they can be controlled and prevented by timely actions. All of these campaigns were conducted by HAS in association with leading pharmaceuticals & multinationals operating in Pakistan. Some of them are:

Evasion: A childcare awareness campaign that created awareness about Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) and its consequences.

AAP: (AAP) a programme about Asthma & Asthma Management.

Amaryl Club: An exclusive club created for diabetics that provided awareness about diabetes and explained its management.

Hope Club: An exclusive club created for hypertension and heart patients that provided awareness about heart diseases and explained its management.

At Mediators, we thoroughly believe that Public Relations is all about communicating with the relevant stakeholders or public in general. Every individual organization has certain stakeholders with whom it has to communicate. Therefore PR is more about developing that communication in a systematic manner and taking it to the public and advising the companies on what kind of behavior will raise the perception about the company.

PR is more like a third person endorsement where messages are more in depth and more subtle and intended to convince people how one is right. The PR consultants should be there to communicate, not the untrue things but the truth properly.
