THE MEDIATORS CONFERENCES (TMC)


Mediators commands an unparalleled position in the public relations business. It is strategically poised to provide a diverse range of public relations and event management services. 

At Mediators, our expertise covers the entire spectrum, ranging from a simple ribbon-cutting ceremony to organizing international conferences, road shows and seminars in Pakistan and abroad with the Government of Pakistan. Our events have been attended by dignitaries such as the President and Prime Ministers. 

To this end, Mediators has dedicated a specialized unit, The Mediators Conferences (TMC).


Major Conferences by TMC:


  • 1989 & 1991: We managed two “International Conferences” jointly organized by Karachi Port Trust and World Bank.


  • 1993: Mediators organized the “First Roundtable Conference (RTC)” with the Government of Pakistan jointly with The Economist Conferences. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.


  • 1994 & 1995: “The Second and Third RTC” were organized with the government of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.


  • 1997: The “Fourth RTC” was again held with the Nawaz Sharif government.


  • 2001 April: TMC successfully organized the “First Pakistan Agribusiness Conference” in Islamabad.


  • 2002: “Seminar on Small and Medium Enterprises Challenges and Potential” (client HBL, inaugurated by Finance Minister, Mr. Shaukat Aziz).


  • 2003: Workshop in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for “Small & Medium Enterprise Stakeholders” (client Asian Development Bank and Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority).


  • 2003 May: “German Textile Machinery Symposium”, Lahore (client - Economic & Labor Ministry of Germany & German Machinery Manufacturers Association, inaugurated by Commerce Minister, Mr. Humayun Akhtar Khan).


  • 2003: Organized Seminar for OICCI’s (IPR) Campaign.


  • 2003-04: We organised 138 seminars across the country for creating awareness about diabetes.


  • 2004 April: We organized the “Management Convention” for the Management Association of Pakistan.


  • 2004 December: We were selected by the Punjab Government to organize the “Punjab Agribusiness Conference”.


  • 2005 March: We were selected by the NWFP Government and successfully organized the “N.W.F.P Investment Conference 2005”.


  • 2005 December: We organized the “First Pakistan Industry Conference” at Karachi. This conference was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Shaukat Aziz.


  • 2005 December: Mediators “Health Awareness Society” initiated a campaign by the name of ‘Asthma Awareness Program’ (AAP). Since December 2005 to date, we have conducted numerous seminars in all the major cities of Pakistan.


  • 2006 February: TMC along with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) organized a conference on “The Role of IFAC in Restoring Public Confidence in The Accounting Profession”.


  • 2006 February: We organized “Doing Business with Pakistan” Road Show in London in association with Economist Conferences.


  • 2006 May: We organized the first phase of the “Karachi-Mumbai Exchange Programme” for the South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA).


  • 2006 June: We also organized the second phase of the “Karachi-Mumbai Exchange Programme” for the South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA). This time we managed the visit of an Indian delegation of journalists, businessmen, politicians, artists and government officials, that came to Karachi under the banner of SAFMA.


  • During “Karachi-Mumbai Exchange Programme” TMC organized all the business, social & cultural activities and played a vital part in arranging various meetings & interactions for the delegation members with public, private & government officials.


  • 2006 June: We organized the “South Asian Electronic Media Workshop” for the South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) with the theme ‘Breaking the line’. This workshop was attended by various journalists from South & South East Asia.


  • 2006 June: We also organized the “SAFMA National Conference” for the South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) with the theme Reviewing Electronic Media’. This conference was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Mr. Shaukat Aziz and was attended by various journalists from Pakistan and South & South East Asia.


  • 2006 August: We organized a seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights in Pakistan” in association with Anti Counterfeiting & Infringement Forum (ACIF).


  • 2006 August: We organized a seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights & their Enforcement” with the Sindh Judiciary Academy.


  • March 2007: Organized the “Overseas Pakistanis Investment Conference 2007 (OPIC-2007)”, that was held in Islamabad. This conference was inaugurated by the President of Pakistan, Gen. Pervez Musharaf and the concluding address was given by the Prime Minister, Mr. Shaukat Aziz.


  • July 2007: In collaboration with AKD Securities (Pvt) Ltd – AKD Trade, TMC initiated a campaign to hold Investment Road Shows on online stock trading at the Pakistan Capital Markets. First road show of this series was held at Lahore in July 2007. Dr. Salman Shah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs & Statistics was the chief guest.


  • 2005 February: We organized the 1st CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” in Sialkot. This is part of an ongoing package for CDC and SECP.


  • 2005 March: We organized the 2nd CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” in Peshawar.


  • 2005 June: We organized the 3rd CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” in Hyderabad.


  • 2005 July: We organized the 4th CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” in Quetta.


  • 2005 September: We organized the 5th CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” in Multan.


  • 2006 January: 6th CDC Road Show on “Investment in the Capital Market” was organized at Sukkur.
