Babar Ayaz founded Mediators in 1988 as the first independent public relations consultancy in the country. He is former chairman of International Public Relations Association (IPRA), Pakistan chapter. He has been associated with journalism for over 33 years. During this time he worked for the Sun, Pakistan Press International (PPI), Business Recorder and Dawn. He was Editor of Pakistan Business Update, the first private television news program in Pakistan dealing specifically with economic development and supervised production of over 500 programmes of 25 minutes each. He has been writing for Dawn, The News, The Nation, Business Recorder and for some foreign newspapers and magazines. He is also a regular columnist contributing to Business Recorder & Urdu daily Express. He has also contributed to The Economist Intelligence Unit (Asia) Hong Kong publications. He has been Pakistan correspondent of Depthnews (a feature service of the Press Foundation of Asia), Hindu and Frontline (India). As the head of the Mediators Conferences, he has conceptualized, organized and compared a number of international conferences. He has participated in various international and national conferences and workshops, and has lectured at various forums on the economic and social problems of Pakistan. |

He also heads the corporate correspondence division, which not only coordinates with Pakistani companies but is also responsible for building & sustaining long-term cordial relationships with international firms. |

As the Director of Pakistan’s leading private production house, Adarsh has co-produced Pakistan Business Update (PBU), a weekly television programme produced for PTV. PBU not only covered trade related issues but also reported weekly business activities. ‘Adarsh Productions’ has also produced a number of corporate documentaries & programmes for some of the leading local and international companies like Shell, Unilever, SKB (now GSK), GETZ Pharma, CDC, SIUT etc.

is mainly responsible for client & media relations, preparing perception

communications & correspondence, research & analysis and report writing
for the perception management division. For Mediators Marketing, he
handles Dow Jones and the clients for DJ’s daily Pakistan research
reports. With a vast experience of organizing & managing more than 100
corporate events in major cities of Pakistan, he plays an important role
in Mediators organizational setup. He is also responsible for event
